A hormone-balancing morning smoothie can be a great way to kickstart your day with essential nutrients and ingredients that support hormone regulation. Here's my simple and delicious recipe that helps you to glow from the inside out.

Hormone-balancing morning smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other plant-based milk of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt (or non-dairy yoghurt for a vegan option)
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, or mixed berries)
  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder (known for hormone-balancing properties)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding honey or maple syrup.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
